  Our mission is to give back. Those who participate will find a lifetime of memories.  The Westward Ho Equine Benefit is a fledgling non-profit   

  organization. Westward Ho Equine Benefit dedicates itself to preserving the western lifestyle and providing charitable support to the community.

Events

  Westward Ho Events hosts annual events for riders and non-riders to benefit charities. These events include the 1st annual Memorial Weekend   

 

Ride on the eastern plains in May 2015. The purpose of this first ride is to benefit Military Veterans.

Westward Ho Equine offers camping trips and four day rides. The four day ride event plans are in May, June, September and early October.

One and two day ride events are throughout the spring, summer and autumn. All ride events will include chuck wagon meals.

Charity Organization

Westward Ho Equine Benefit is the first of its kind as an equine total benefit Charity  organization.

The Westward Ho Equine Benefit is for specific charities, the horse and the rider.

Future Events and Goals

 Westward Ho Equine Benefit provides amazing range riding and entertainment. Canvas tents with all the everyday necessities and amenities of a  five star hotel room are in the future. This type of activity is called Glamping and has become very popular. Available at functions are simple port a potty and in the future full bathrooms with showers. Wifi and Internet can also be made available so that busy people can communicate seamlessly.

Future event plans are poker rides, ranch rodeos, weekend horse camping trips, country dances and cowboy poetry. Activities will include participation in parades, horse clinics, equine education and workshops. Horse rescue is a part of Westward Ho Equine Benefit mission. As part of our function, the need for additional riding stock will arise and there are always good and willing horses to fill this gap. Horses looking for forever homes could find them on the open range with their new partner. The horse and rider would be tried and true after an event.
